Terms of Service
3types is a home for serialised fiction and short work: a place to read deeply and write freely. By using 3types you agree to these terms. This is a working draft while we finalise the platform, not a substitute for professional legal advice.
What 3types is
3types lets writers publish works and chapters, and lets readers follow, comment, save, like and support writers they enjoy. We provide the platform; we don't write or edit your content.
Your content stays yours
You retain ownership of everything you write and publish on 3types. By publishing, you grant 3types a licence to host, display and distribute your work on the platform so we can operate the service — nothing more. You're responsible for having the rights to what you post.
Acceptable use
Don't use 3types to:
- Publish content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes someone else's copyright.
- Harass, threaten, or target other users.
- Publish illegal content, or content sexualising minors.
- Spam, scrape, or attempt to manipulate the platform's ranking or payment systems.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. See our Community Guidelines for detail.
Tipping and payments
3types takes 0% platform fee on tips during our founding period. Payment processing fees charged by our third-party payment processor may still apply. Payments and card data are handled by that processor, not stored by 3types.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll do our best to flag material changes.
